Summery:

I have been graduated in the Faculty of Medicine Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt in 1990, completed my basic Medical and Surgical Training as an Internship Physician in Al-Azhar University Hospitals, Cairo, Egypt (1990 – 1991),and got Master degree in Ophthalmology (1994).

Having finished my basic specialist training in Ophthalmology from 1991 – 1994, I worked as an Assistant Lecturer of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals of Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt; from November1994 till April 2000.

I have been working as an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow of Ophthalmology (from 2001 to 2003) at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK. while studying towards PhD. degree in Ophthalmology.

I have been awarded PhD degree in Ophthalmology from the Univesity of Nottingham on the 10th of June 2004.

Currently I am working as a Lecturer of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals of Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.
