Curriculum Vitae

Sergio Uribe is a Lecturer in Research Methodology and Public Health Studies at the School of Dentistry, University of Valparaiso, CHILE, and a dentist specialising in Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Uribe was born in Chile. He is a Dental Surgeon (DDS) , graduated from the University of Valparaiso Chile, and holds a Speciality in MaxilloFacial Radiology (2003).

Dr Uribe has been involved in various public health and dental public health research projects using a multidisciplinary approach and collaborating with researchers from institutions in Australia, Argentina, UK and Sweden. He is also the Website Editor of the Evidence-Based Dentistry Group (www.infodoctor.org/obe).
Currently his research is focused in Cariology, Preventive Dentistry and Dental Traumatology.
